The Health Education Action League for Haiti (HEAL Haiti) was founded with the beliefs that education and good healthcare delivery are key to driving sustainable peaceful change in Haiti. We are saddened by the decision to postpone our 7th Annual Health Fair this year but remain steadfast in our labor. To fulfill our mission, HEAL Haiti focuses on, deepening partnerships to help educate medical professionals, putting the community first by providing holistic health care, and driving measurable impact in Haiti. HEAL Haiti continues to fulfill these directives through:

  • Annual health fairs that serve thousands with primary healthcare by training hundreds of students in Haiti to deliver quality care

  • Nursing scholarships that enables intelligent, financially challenged young nurses to earn a nursing degree

  • Disaster Relief through partners in many locations throughout Haiti including Aquin and Dame Marie

Now, we need help to transition to a persistent, sustainable force for change on the ground in Haiti. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to launch sustainable programs to have a continued presence and intervention in the lives of Haitians. Please help us secure the capital and start-up costs for these programs:

The Blue Project was created since over 40% of the people we’ve served have attended our health fair more than once. As a result, HEAL Haiti launched the Blue Project - a pilot initiative that provides long-term care to 100 patients in the Bas Artibonite region.

Project PREP was launched as nurse residency program that strengthens the capacity of post graduate nurses in rural Haiti in the areas of professional nursing, ethics and practical skill-based care - to better prepare them for their transition into the workforce. Project PREP will provide training and assistance for the national nursing certification
